Snapshot Create and Restore

A snapshot preserves the state of a volume at a specific point in time. Use it for accidental file deletion, pre-migration backups, or rollbacks.

Create a Snapshot (Department Manager)

1. Go to Storage → Volumes → click a volume row → detail panel
2. Snapshots tab → CREATE SNAPSHOT
3. Enter a snapshot name (e.g. before-migration-0427)

Restore from a Snapshot

1. Volume detail panel → Snapshots tab → select the snapshot to restore
2. Click RESTORE → confirm → volume status returns to Ready

warning

Restoring a snapshot permanently discards all data written after the snapshot was taken. Confirm before proceeding.
