Getting Started
Your MASS appliance arrives pre-configured with all system software installed. This guide walks you through accessing the Dashboard and orienting yourself for the first time.
Accessing the Dashboard
Open a web browser and navigate to:
http://<head-node-ip>:8080
The head node IP address is printed on the appliance label or provided in your delivery documentation.
Log in with the admin credentials supplied with your appliance.

To change the admin password, go to Settings → Access → Change Password.
Dashboard Overview
After logging in, the navigation bar on the left gives access to all management areas:

| Overview | Monitor cluster health, active nodes, and total capacity at a glance |
| Storage | Create and manage VolumeGroups and Volumes |
| Hardware | View node status, drive health, and chassis inventory |
| Access | Manage users, machines, groups, and access policies |
| Analysis | View throughput, IOPS, and latency trends |
| Settings | Configure system settings and network |
Checking Cluster Status
On the Overview page, verify:
- All storage nodes show Ready status
- Total capacity reflects the expected NVMe capacity installed
- No alerts are displayed in the health panel
