4. Unmount and Logout

Unmount

sudo mass-ctl unmount -m /mnt/data

warning

Unmounting fails if any files are open. Close all files and leave the directory before retrying.

Logout

# Delete session token and certificate
mass-ctl logout

# Check current status
mass-ctl status

Logging out does not unmount any volumes. Unmounting and logging out are independent operations.
