Getting Started

Your MASS appliance arrives pre-configured, with the cluster deployed and storage initialized. This guide walks you through accessing the Dashboard and orienting yourself for the first time.

Accessing the Dashboard

Open a web browser and navigate to:

https://<head-node-ip>:30082

Plain HTTP is also available on port 30080. The head node address is printed on the appliance label or provided in your delivery documentation.

Log in with the admin credentials supplied with your appliance.

Checking Cluster Status

The status card in the sidebar shows the overall system state and uptime. On the Dashboard page, verify:

  • System state is Ready
  • Total capacity reflects the expected NVMe capacity installed
  • No active critical alerts in the Alerts panel

If the state is Degraded or Failed, a banner at the top of the page lists each cause together with a suggested remedy. See Troubleshooting.
